Housing Action is a coalition of citizens committed to finding and implementing constructive approaches to the affordable housing dilemma in Alexandria, Virginia.
We believe this requires a community-wide effort with both support and constructive criticism from the City, faith groups, the business community, non-profit organizations, and neighborhood groups.
The City is transforming before our eyes as apartment rents and home prices explode. We must act now to save properties that house our fire fighters, teachers, police force, hospital workers, clergy, clerks, restaurant staff, and so many others!
